Established in 1975, Texas Book Company is one of the largest wholesale textbook companies in the United States, servicing the college textbook industry.

Texas Book Company’s virtual bookstore division, TBC OnCourse, partners with schools to provide an online solution for parents, students, and faculty. Because it’s customizable, TBC OnCourse provides students a quick and convenient way to order textbooks and other coursework online, from anywhere, 24/7.

The value of TBC OnCourse is most beneficial to small and medium colleges and private K-12 schools. Powered by a course-driven website, TBC OnCourse gives your student options. Whether they need a new book, used book, rental book, eBook, access card, custom bundle, specialized kit, or to pay with financial aid - we deliver. Integration with your school’s data system(s) streamlines your student’s experience by making book-buying part of the registration process.

TBC OnCourse is a state-of-the-art web solution that provides fail-safe procedures that guarantee the security of data. The flexibility we have built into TBC OnCourse makes it possible for a student to register online and see all of their required materials instantly displayed. The student is able to finalize their purchase within seconds, with the confidence that they have exactly what they need.

Our virtual bookstore is the ideal solution for distance-learning students, satellite or extension campuses, and ensuring that your school is HEOA compliant.TBC OnCourse leverages the textbook and fulfillment expertise that Texas Book Company has developed over the past 35 years in the textbook industry. Both the U.S. Naval Academy and Air Force Academy trust us to be their textbook provider.

We realize that not every school is the same. TBC OnCourse is built to be flexible. For instance, one school has turned over their book ordering, storing and managing inventory, and delivery to students fully to TBC OnCourse. This has allowed them to turn the bookstore into a campus store, selling a wide variety of soft-goods while adding notebook and netbook sales.

For other schools, TBC OnCourse has allowed them to eliminate all the risk of loss associated with institutional management of stores. TBC OnCourse can also operate in parallel to a physical bookstore. No matter how you use TBC OnCourse, we ensure that your materials are in place and ready to go when you need them. Our strength is delivering customized fulfillment solutions backed by a 100% fulfillment guarantee.

TBC OnCourse is there for you. The way you want it. When you need it.
