Texas Book Company Honored as NACAS 2008
Outstanding Business Partner of the Year

The National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS) selected Texas Book Company as the 2008 Outstanding Business Partner of the Year for its noteworthy contributions to NACAS member institutions and to the auxiliary services profession and embodiment of the ideals of outstanding customer service and support of the educational process at NACAS institutions. Texas Book Company, and representative to NACAS, Stacy Dyer, were recognized at this year’s NACAS Annual Conference in Chicago, and will be featured in the NACAS College Services magazine.

Texas Book Company was selected from over 220 business partner members, and joins a prestigious list of honorees, which include American Campus Communities, Sodexo Education, Starbucks Coffee Company, ARAMARK Higher Education, and other distinguished higher education partners.

Established in 1969, NACAS is a nonprofit higher education association serving auxiliary services and student support services professionals at over 900 colleges and universities in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Ireland. NACAS provides extensive networking opportunities, professional development programs and timely professional publications that help foster the continued growth and enhancement of the auxiliary services and student support services profession in higher education.

Brent Dyer, Texas Book Company president, after being recognized at the Chicago award presentation said, “This is an amazing honor and recognition.
